Can you fall in love with your client just by the first inquiry? You can. I did with Jack. She just wrote the most amazing, heartfelt letters, even from the first one inquiring about our services. Getting a note from her always managed to make me happy and lighten my heart.

How do I become ever so lucky? This is how I felt after the wedding of Rachelle and Paolo, such beautiful, genuine, sweet, nice, easy to work with, happy people. (Can you sense that I am gushing? I am.) It is being part of a heartfelt, joy-filled, lighthearted wedding like theirs that makes me feel so honored to be chosen as a supplier, and blessed and grateful to be doing what I am for a living.

This bride did her research on me. She told me on our trial how she viewed my blog from the last to the first entry. She also gave me a refreshingly candid and quite funny assessment of what she thought. I remember her telling me that more than just browsing the entries, she was sort of looking for my “worst” work (Yikes alin kaya yun?) to decide if even that was still good enough for her. (Quite a logical way to go about it, no?) :) She also told me that she liked my work because all my brides looked like they were naturally pretty. (Oh, but they are!!!) :)

For her wedding look, Steph did a side-parted clean and classic bun for the ceremony, changed into a side pony with loose curls for the reception. For the makeup, I blended charcoal shadows to bring out her eyes. I also used warm natural shades for the cheeks and lips to highlight her amazing skin.

I loved having Kat as a bride and truly enjoyed even the short time that we corresponded for her wedding. I loved how clear-cut, and thus simple, everything was. Thank you Kat!
